Is this watercress?

I'd like to know if this plant is watercress or, ifnot, what it is.

Not watercress, that has a flat leaf without the serrated edge and is quite dark and glossy, and I think it grows in streams. I'm sorry, I don't know what it is, I would guess some sort of geranium, but it is only a guess.

Could it be malva parviflora (cheeseweed)?

OOps, googled cheese weed (two words) and got lots of pictures of cannabis flowers? Tried the Latin, more reliable, yes, the leaf does look like a mallow, the common name here. The flower will really tell you, leaves are often difficult to identify.

Thanks. I'll look around to see if some plants have flowers already. It grows everywhere around the house.
