As the title says, should I be concerned about these beetles I see on the flowers of my blackberry plants, or are they harmless insects trying to get by in a dangerous world? They are hugging the berries quite firmly when I try to remove them.
No they are enjoying eating your berries and leaves. I would pick them off every time I see one. If you get out early in the morning when its cool they are slow and easier to pick off.
