Hi,

I'm growing plants indoors.
I've noticed there are these tiny bugs on some of my plants, first it was the mint, then basil, which I threw both of them out .
Now I see it on some other plants too and I'm very concerned for the health of my plants. Should I throw away the ones that are infected? I'm afraid they are all infected in some level, as this is going on for quite some time now.

I'm unsure if all pests are of the same type.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Adi

I can't see the bugs in the photos but there is no need to throw the plants away. Take them outside and wash then off, both sides of leaves and stems with the hose then when they dry off, spray with neem oil. You can get it at garden stores or from Amazon.

There will be a source of infection somewhere, even if you chuck the lot out. Annie's advice for washing them off is good, maybe use the spray on the hose for the more delicate ones. When we have plants inside we forget they get rained on naturally, and it does them good, not just waters them.
I have never used neem oil, I understand its effectiveness can decrease, and I am poor and go for cheap options. I use sunflower oil and dish soap mixed well and then add water to make a spray. The oil blocks up the breathing holes on small bugs, remember to do top and bottom of leaves, and I reckon it is good to take them out and give them another wash after a week or so, plants have breathing holes too, and you want to get rid of the dead bugs and any eggs that might be hanging around.
