Honey berry

i have had a honey berry plant ..think this is the 3rd year of having it. It was only one stem about a foot tall. its now got lots of branches and about 3 ft tall. But its never had berries on it. In the last few weeks its started sprouting pale yellow flower ? buds. Not having had a honey berry plant before, i dont what it will do.. Will the flowers change into berries. Im in UK

Not unless they are pollinated, and Honeyberry plants require cross-pollination to produce fruit. This means you'll need to plant at least two different varieties of honeyberry close to each other to ensure successful pollination

ok thanks for the info . I will have to find another honey berry plant. I bought mine from asda and thats the only place ive seen them

I was looking for another honey berry plant for last couple of months but can't find any. I was out in my back garden today and noticed that my honey berry plant has berries on. They only about the size of a pea and dark purple. They look like little damsons. How is this possible unless my honey berry plant has been visited by insect that has visited another honey berry plant of another species ?
