This seems like a nice drama free forum. Decided to sign up so I can contribute what little I know and learn. Just starting to experiment with a few veggies for my rainbow smoothies - kale, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, carrots. I'm excited.

Hi Twise, welcome to the forums :D. We're a friendly bunch!

Those smoothies sound interesting - co-incidentally I had a kale smoothie for the first time yesterday (it had Avacado, nuts and other bits in too). Very tasty!

Welcome twist! "Drama Free" I lurked for a few days to see what this site was all about, and the lack of drama along with the friendly, knowledgeable people here, pushed me over the edge. (y)

Welcome, twist! I'm looking forward to learning about smoothies. It's hard for me to have breakfast (because I'm never hungry early in the day) and I think I might be able to drink a smoothie. It's probably healthier than eating nothing ;)

My DIL got a juicer for Christmas and so now I'm going to be starting some kale for her to use in her recipes. I think she' figured out how to slide healthy stuff into "shakes" for the kids without their being aware of it!

That's similar to what I had to do to get my husband to eat vegetables. One day he asked me what I was cooking, and I said "green mashed potatoes, because they're mixed with broccoli". He loved the green mashed potatoes, and I got him to eat broccoli. Now, every time I make a pot of beans, chickpeas, or lentils, I put kale and spinach in the food processor so it's tiny and put it in the pot a couple of minutes before I turn the stove off. He knows they're there, but he eats it anyway and he likes it haha!

If I could find a juicer that is easy to clean, I'd drink a juice a day, but they're a p.i.a when it comes to take them apart and cleaning them. I got me an individual smoothie machine. It's small and easy to clean, but I haven't used it yet. I need to start.

Nice to meet you here, and smoothie is something I have been wanting to do, but I don't have a proper blender yet. I am very lazy with eating, so a healthy and protein filled would be just a dream for me. I am still looking and watching out for a great blender without hurting my budget!

Oh but of course ;) That is not a bad drama at all, we all have garden crisis from time to time, no shame on that  I was talking about the bad ''over nothing'' drama ;) We don't have that here (y)
