I was. My daughters asked me for 1 dollar, many years ago. There was an agricultural event at their school. They each bought a plant. One a purple trumpet, the other, mini roses.
3 years later, the purple trumpet covered one full side of my house, was over 6 feet tall, and bloomed beautiful.
She spent 50c.
