Nice!!
When I have too many tomatoes to give away or eat, I chop them roughly, stew until cooked down a bit then freeze in ziplock bags. Great for winter soups and stews. :)

I scoop the seeds out before freezing as they can go bitter in the freezer, put them in a sieve while i'm doing it and I end up with a glass of tomato juice too :)

Yum! My mouth is literally watering just looking at those - especially the baby plum tomatoes, they're my favourites :D

The tomato glut usually coincides with the courgette glut, the onions being harvestable, green peppers, the basil & oregano in full swing, garlic ready.
So I make and freeze pasta sauce, jar pizza toppings and salsa etc.

Great quality, what about that big tomato in the middle? Is that some sort of little tomato nose growing right there? ;) Wonderful harvest :) Must be great to know you are eating 100% organic tomatoes. I plan to do something similar, but with tomatillos herbs and some berries. I've told my husband I want a hazelnut tree, but he said there are far too many around where we live D:

That is the tomato I had posted when it was still on the vine. It does have a nose!

Lol awwwww!!! I'm sorry, I couldn't recognize it!!! It has gotten so big, red and juicy, lol. Are you planning to do something special with it? Maybe a nice salad? Some juice? I think that is one mighty epic tomato ;)

@GardenStateGardner, those are nice harvest of tomatoes that you can be proud of. With the 25 lb of tomatoes, roughtly 20 kilos or so, that's a lot. And what do you do with your harvest? I guess you preserve it as juice or puree? When we harvest a lot from our garden, we normally give away the excess to the neighbors. And surely, they are all happy in receiving some mangoes, cassava, etc.

If you are still new to harvesting such an abundance, I guess you are so excited in the morning to see the new buds and flowers of your tomato plant. When we had a big tomato plant (measuring more than 5 feet in height) in the backyard, I would be counting the small fruits in the morning, hahahaaa. From what I remember, we had harvested more than 200 fruits from that 1 tomato plant.
