Today we pause to remember those that have served for our country, and for those that have gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms.
My Uncle Joe Chise was killed in WWI, in France, received the purple heart. He was gone long before I was born. I hear wonderful stories about him. RIP Uncle Joe. And God Bless America.

Yes. I get annoyed with people who don't give a thought to veterans, and who merely regard Memorial Day as an excuse to eat too much, get drunk, or go to big box stores to buy cheap Chinese crap on sale!
