Hello everybody.
I came across this forum on a random google search (I was actually looking for a new clutch for my car).
I used to live in a 1st floor flat, with a HUGE patio area, which became my Roofgarden.
Hence I was the Roofgardener. And I grew onions and courgettes and chilli's and stuff. And life was good !
But then they demolished the building. Possibly because of my Chilli's !
Now I live in a ground floor cottage in a tiny little village in the East Midlands (UK). But I can't countenance calling myself the ground-floor-cottage-gardener. Anyway, I've already got the roofgardener.org.uk domain ! So Roofgardener I will remain. At least until the domain comes up for renewal.
Unlike my Roofgarden, on which everything I grew was in pots or troughs, my new garden has .. like.. grass, and soil and stuff. And flowerbeds.
It's going to be a learning experience. Previously, if I wanted to cut my "lawn", I picked it up and trimmed it with scissors. Now I need a lawnmower !!
The landlords won't tolerate me cluttering up the garden with plantpots... So I'm restricted to the "official" flowerbeds/borders.
Well.. lets see what we can do with them, shall we ?
