Good grow lights?

I wanted to get a grow light/lights for my plants. They are currently in a northeast facing window. The room is pretty bright throughout the day and the plants are doing good so far. I wanted to give them a little more light( maybe a few hours in the am) with a grow light. Or maybe I just don’t really need it..

Are the Barrinas decent lights? And does any one use a standing or single grow light for a larger area?

I took it that the photo included the grow lights the Op had asked us to comment on...my bad, I guess.

It would have been easier, for me, if they were in the photo as intended to be used.

At any rate, many say Barrina lights are cheapo and not effective...but I haven't tried them firsthand. The reviews some say full spectrum as advertised is not full spectrum. caveat emptor...but once again I have not used them myself.

OP is asking if a grow light is necessary for the area in the pic. If yes, OP would like a good grow light recommendation.

I don’t have any yet.. I was asking if anyone has any suggestions. I think they get enough light but would they benefit from a few hours in the am with a grow lght

You can get a 100-watt LED and put it about 3 ft away from the plants to supplement the lighting. I would go ahead and buy a cheap timer to hook up the LED and run on a 12/12 photoperiod. You would be suprised how well an addition of a good LED will give to plants.

My opinion is that they do not need a grow light. I have a set up like yours with a few more shelves and my plants are doing great. Watch out for sunburn leaves with the plant in the window and do not forget to mist them with water preferably rain water.
