Full sun?

I just moved to a home on 20 acres. Most of the property is pine tree woods. I have about a 2 acre clearing between the pine trees that I would like to use for gardening. The pine trees are tall and do block the morning sun. The sun doesn't really shine onto that area of space until 10 or 11am. It does get direct sun all afternoon. Would this still be considered full sun? I live in middle Georgia if that makes any difference. I have done small back yard vegetable gardens in the past but would really like to grow a larger amount in future years. We also wanted to plant some fruit trees and I want to make sure that everything will be good to go before we do this and I don't want to prep the soil if the sunlight won't be sufficient.

Thanks!

I would think that some part of the 2 acres would get at least 6 hours of sun a day, which is considered “full sun” in most gardening references.

But certainly not all.

A lot of veg do not require full sun, you might find this useful:-
