Congratulations! You are the proud parent of lacewings and those are their larvae. Encourage them, don't hurt them. They are death on things like aphids and other soft bodied harmful insects and their larvae

That's good to know! I see those sometimes but they've never seemed associated with any plant damage so I let them be.
I see so many interesting insects in the garden...I always assume they are benign unless I find proof otherwise.
