Planted iceberg lettuce, broccoli, and Brussels sprouts in southeast US. Hardy zone 8a in October. Did not produce as much as I had hope even as a newb. Just harvested broccoli for first time tonight. Brussels sprouts will not produce. Lettuce I should get one head. Did anyone else in the region have a tough winter or did I have a learning year?
ps I had one local friend say they also had a rough year but he is not an “expert” but it wasn’t his first year either.
