The fern still has some green colouring which suggests that it's still alive. Ferns prefer to grow in moist areas so if the soil is dry, water it when needed. In it's current condition I wouldn't move it until it's re-established itself as it's likely to die. If there's no option, dig it out with as much soil around it's roots as possible and re-plant it as soon as you can.
Edit: The fronds could take a few months to re-establish.
