It has rained almost every day for a month. No rain yesterday or today mud dried up so I went searching for melons. Largest melon of the bunch when I rolled it over it sounded like a cork blowing out of a wine bottle. Turns out melon is ripe enough to eat. We ate a bunch of melon too close to bed time and put some in a saver for refrigerator. Last summer I could not give melons away whinny babies complain about melons with seeds. There are more watermelons & cantaloupe in the garden.
