Everything's Late This Year in North-West UK.

This is our "lollypop" maple in our tiny front garden this morning. I prune off about six inches all the way round each year to stop it getting too big. Have done this for over a decade, it's still about sixteen feet high.



I like it when the leaves first come out, "all pink and green."



In contrast, this is how it was on 7th May, 2019. Last year, it wasn't much further forward than this year.

Late here too Sean, still got some March flowers around

Here in Northeast Ohio it is the opposite. The Late Spring Tulips have been in bloom for quite some time. Locust trees have also flowered.
