Every thread I post in becomes automatically a "watched thread"?

The title says it all, how do I stop this automatic "watch thread" thingy?

Thanks, I've been doing that, but then the next time I post it sets it back to watched thread, there's got to be a setting or something to stop it from happening

Look under your preferences and make sure this isn't checked:

I was looking under "Alerts Preference" instead of Preference under Settings...boy am I glad that got taken care of
