So I came home after a few days of being gone and I noticed my alocasia Polly was looking rough so I went to look at the roots and the entire leaf portion broke off, someone please help me save him!

Stem rot, from over watering and I don't think you can do much at this point. Cut the mush off until you hit green tissue and stick it in soil and see if you get roots, Since these plants grow from rhizomes they don't propagate like other house plants.
