I want to plant some Zinnia but I don't know if they grow in my zone.

For best seed germination when the soil is about 70F. Or 2 -3 weeks after the last frost. You can start the seeds indoors and plant the seedlings about the same time. When do i plant them?
I don't know, I don't live there. Google it.When is the last frost?
This ^^^Zinnias are generally pretty easy to grow since they thrive in warm weather and full sun. .
Not outside in KCMO.Can I Grow Mangos?![]()
So i can plant them now?Start Zinnias indoors around Mar. 1st. Transplant in May. Zinnias are pretty easy to start as seeds. Just use seed-starting soil and be sure to keep seedlings/plants' soil moist but never wet. Be sure and follow planting depth instructions to the letter.
When you transplant, be sure and add some worm castings and maybe even lobster/crab shell to the soil. Compost, of course, is terrific "food" for any flowering plants.
My absolute favorite Zinnia is "Zowie Yellow Flame." The prettiest flowers EVER.
Your plant zone is 6b, but keep in mind that there can be little microclimates, according to where you are, in any zone. You may have neighbors a mile away who can grow things that don't thrive in your neighborhood. Climate Change is playing Hell with gardens now. Messing with flowering times, etc.
