Hi,

I am currently planning to build some garden beds at the back of my garden which is a bit of a weed hotspot. I was wondering if I needed to line the inside of my beds with a membrane to avoid any weeds coming through or whether this was unnecessary ?

any tips/ advice would be great

If you can, suggest covering the area with paper, a few inches thick to smother out the light. Then, cover with a few inches mulch. Dig holes through the mulch, and put in your plants. Did this successfully years back to completely replace our front yard grass, Saint Augustine, with an array of many drought tolerant herbs and citrus trees.
