Best corn varieties for Southeast Coastal Georgia zone 8b?

I'd like to grow some corn this year and am wondering about varieties of sweet corn for my area. Also, what are some diseases and/or pests to be on the lookout? Ways to deal with both?

Honey select triple sweet has been my corn of choice for several years now. I swear it is better tasting than all others I tried even the widely acclaimed Olathe corn. Several members here also use it.

The only insect problem I ever have is the corn earworm (Helicoverpa zea).

I control it by applying a 10:1 ratio of neem oil and BT to the silks via medicine dropper. Very effective.
