We're in 6b and I'm wanting to plant Jasmine.

I googled it and saw that some lilac are possible for zone 6. I have trouble with outdoor plants that are borderline at some point. I mean it might take 15 years for it to get cold enough to say kill back a favorite fig, but the usda guides are 10 year average temps or something like it and they are not set in stone. We used to be zone 7 and we changed/moved into 8b, so this winter taught us yeah we can still push down to 7a or possibly a 6b.

Funny didn't think about it until we got there.

We went to the Gulf in Louisiana and they was two months ahead of us on Weather.
