I have some allium that were practically falling out of an old flower beds , I didn't have to pull very hard to get them out.
They have flowered and now they are done.

I want to bring them to thr cottage. What do I do, cut the stem down and plant them now as is, or dry them and wait until the fall or spring?

For the allium, I took the seeds at the end of the summer from my neighbor's garden, and planted them. By spring the next year, they grow beautifully and had given me flowers.

As for the bulbs, I usually planted them in the early spring. Maybe someone has a different method and offer some advices.
