When I'm driving I tend to notice on occasions what I consider to be really poor examples of marketing.
Having spent some time in advertising and sales promotion in my career, to me it's obvious what you need to get across in a very short space of time.
"Who you are, what you do and have a readable phone number or website address." The latter is a common problem, but even "what they do" can appear to be unclear.
However there are often some excellent examples of marketing, a few can put a smile on your face, like these two posted on another board.

Hi Searn, I do agree ref using the space on the vans to show what you have to offer, but to much is a No No everytime,

Four ive seen are here,

A garden services Van called blooming awful garden service,

On a chimney sweeps van = Sooty and sweep chimney sweep,

On a Window cleaning Van = visual techniical window cleaning services

On a carpet cleaning van= Doctor rug carpet cleaners "we deal in pile problems"
