The capital of Adjara, the city of Batumi, is the main resort city of Georgia. Batumi is located between the sea and the mountains. High mountains do not allow clouds from the sea to go further. Clouds are stuck and rain is falling in the mountains very often.

Active construction is in Batumi. So the new city is around the old one. The new city does not have a single architectural style. So sometimes it looks a little eclectic.

On the streets of Batumi are many plants, monuments, fountains. The city's adornments are a musical fountain and the Primorsky Boulevard along the Black Sea. It is very pleasant to walk in the evening. It's many kilometers of wonderful walks, cafes, ice-cream from wine, street musicians ... You can swim on a boat to see the city from the sea.

Two statues stand on the boulevard in honor of the heroes of the popular in Georgia novel Kurban Saeed about the love story of Georgian princess Nino and Azerbaijani aristocrat Ali.

The sculpture "Ali and Nino" became a symbol of love, capable of overcoming borders and prejudices. A mobile installation embodies the idea of the magnetic attraction of a man and a woman and their unity in spite of life's difficulties.

Two 8-meter figures of a man and a woman have a special mechanism and can move: Ali and Nino approach each other, merge into a single whole, pass through each other and find each other behind their back, moving to the maximum distance. Then they gradually turn and again start their way towards each other.
