Purchased a USB digital microscope to view trichomes. It appears to work well. The material was removed from the plant and the small device was hand held to take the pictures. It is well made and ideal for my application.

I use a small hand held one. When I see something happening to my plants, I'll pluck a leaf and examine it closely to see if it appears to be disease, deficiency or infestation. Very handy

I have a hand ocular. It works reasonably well. I decided to go high tech. The USB one is marginally better.

Do you have any experience with glycerin tinctures?

Trichomes still all clear coloured.
