Hello everyone,
The large plant was given to me as a gift for doing a neighbour a favour 25 years ago. It was in a small pot and roughly 15 inches tall.
As you can see things have progressed and I would very much like a answer to a few questions.
Some stems and leaves turn brown and drop but I am not sure if there is something I can do to prevent this or perhaps this is normal?
Three years ago the new growth at the top stopped and these fluffy (bundles) appeared. They seem to drop a sticky residue in the summer months. I am unsure if I should leave or remove.
Lastly, should I remove the long roots that are hanging down or leave them alone?
I have no prior experience of house plants other than trying not to over water them.
