Seed potatoes were planted 20 Yukon gold and 20 Superior. They are planted about a foot apart and the seed potato is marked with a fiber rod to facilitate digging, since the vegetation is gone come digging time.If watering is necessary place a hose over the rod and get the moisture at the growth area. I expect about four pounds from each plant with a bit of tender care.
