Those were great tips, especially the one about using the water from cooking vegetables to water plants. I had never thought of that. I don't boil my veggies, but I steam them and the water still gets colored some times so I will definitely try that on really soon.

I made some black beans the other day. The water they soaked in was completely black the next day, so I saved it for my plants
