Forgot to post these yesterday - saw these gorgeous Dahlias at Tatton Park the other day:

Nice one Beth :) There's one of those in the field entrance where I cook breakfast some mornings, why someone would dump a huge carp in the middle of nowhere is beyond me

Are those Kiwis @zigs?!

Ooops, forgot I posted the pics in here last night. Yep, quite a big vine, but I think they need longer to ripen, they're as hard as rocks.

I would say definintely the pumpkins look good around here, but they usually do. I am hankering for the leaves to change, it has just been too warm. It looks more like September 15 around here instead of Oct. 15. We need a good frost, or a hard freeze, and we haven't had either, although it has been chilly a few nights.

What a contrast zigs. I thought my Peonie had died when i first had it when it looked like that . Luckily I didn't pull it out which was my usual gardening trick when i first started:p. Now I'll leave a plant looking very miserable until I'm sure it's well and truly gone. I was just pointing out one to a friend the other day saying I'd tried 3 times with this one plant and it had died so I was giving up. She pointed out new growth:LOL:.

Wonder if the seeds will grow, there's only one plant, so I don't think it'd be pollinated.
