I'm looking for any okay nice looking smallish trees/shrubs that will grow in clay soil on a slight slope. I'm in New Zealand so I kind of need plants that are actually over here. It has a good amount of sunlight in the area and lots of shade also.
    All suggestions are welcome.
    Thanks

Hebe's are nice plants that love sunshine and take dry area's. There are tons of varieties. I try to grow here but some aren't so hardy and I guess they are from New Zealand which is a bit more mild then our area.
