So are the Sea Spoons, the leaves are packed with vitamin C so were taken on sea voyages, became known as Scurvey Grass.

Getting a lot of low cloud and mist at the moment, could do with a bit of sun now we've had some rain.

The fig looks a lot like purslane. I bought some at work recently, but because it's technically not sold as a food plant I can't be sure it wasn't sprayed with something. I want to wait a while and then propagate cuttings to have enough to put in salads.

It does, we get Purslane growing on the salt marshes, i've tried it, very nice :)
