This year I had an amazing fig crop even though rust was all over the leaves. Those leaves have fallen off and I've been taking them away from the ground around the tree. A new set of leaves and figs are appearing. Would this be a good time to apply the fungicide or would there be a better time maybe in the Spring? I'm in Southeast Coastal Georgia.

If, in your climate figs lose their leaves in the fall/winter, wait until the leaves have fallen and spray with either dormant oil or Neem Oil. If your tree DOES NOT lose its leaves spray now with copper and every 3 or 4 weeks throughout the year. Rake up and remove ALL debris. Rust can lead to a serious drop in production if not treated aggressively.
