Apple trees

I would love to have an apple tree because I have recently had a lot of apple pie and this gets expensive, it would be fantastic to have them growing in my yard so that I can pick them and do so much more than just eat it as a fruit

a local favorite is also mine. white transparent which is a old russian cultivar. is a tart apple that makes the best apple pie and applesauce. it is so cold hardy it is naturalized around here. before my father planted his we used to go around on old farmland to pick them for applesauce. dad used to send us up the tree to pick the ones up top.
