Any ideas?
Who's pooping is likely your neighbors' cats. I grow Anise and went it gets dried and prickly, I layer it atop the soil of my potted plants. The neighbors' roaming killer cats hated it that they could no longer taint my potting soil with their feces.Look whose pooping too. Someone dug a little into a tomato container and pooped, wtf is with nature today, shitty.

Roadrunner is correct. "An article by the Indiana Business Journal said more castings appear on the surface in the spring when the soil is waterlogged, which likely explains why they've shown up this week after so much rain. Sept. 2023"
