I recently purchased spinach, rocket, radish and lettuce seeds from Suttons and put them in trays in the greenhouse. Given the weather, and plenty of watering, they are all doing well apart from the spinach which is a 'no show' at the moment. Is this normal for spinach?

Yes, I find spinach one of the more difficult seeds to germinate. Two weeks at temps between 40 deg F and 75 deg F (4 deg C and 24 deg C) desired and those conditions are rarely met in my climate.

Soaking the seeds for a day before planting can make a difference, mind, 'spinach' can be a bit of a catch all for a number of different plants.
