Hi all,

For the past few years these rascals have been showing up around my tree and they're becoming a pain to continuously trim them down. Does anyone know what they are called and how I can get rid of them?

Can't really tell but their growth pattern looks like suckers from the tree. Are the leaves on the tree similar?

It looks as though the tree is in a pot that will be there to restrict root runners. Otherwise they may be spreading all over the ground. What is the tree?

They grow beautifully and uniformly in a pretty circle though :), but like what @Bootsy said, I also believe that they grow out from the root of that tree.

If they are suckers from the tree - and they look as though they may be - then you need to make sure that they don't run underground and come up everywhere in your garden.

That's why we need to know what the tree is, whether the leaves on the tree are the same as those growing out of the pot, is the tree in a pot or does it just have a collar around it.
