What are these whitish spots on my parsley?

Hi,

I'm brand new to gardening so my apologies if this is a stupid question.

This is a brand new parsley plant. Actually these are 2 different plants in one pot. I noticed these whitish spots on the leaves. Are these pests? If so, what sort and how do I get rid of them?

Please help.

There is nothing to worry about you may have let the soil dry out too much at some time in the past. Gently tip the plant out of the pot look at the roots and see if your plant needs a new larger pot.

Not pests thankfully. Pretty common in parsley.
