Does anyone use a Vegepod?

I purchased the small Vegepod and I live in the Midwest. I was hoping this would help extend the gardening season for me. This would be my 2nd season of growing vegetables.

It is still cold (30s-40s most days) in the Midwest. I have a few seedlings indoors and I am running out of space under my grow lights. I would like to plant them in the Vegepod soon. I am also waiting to plant carrots. Would the protective cover (included) be sufficient with this 30s temperature or would I need the winter cover? Or should I continue to grow my seedlings indoors and wait until we get consistent 50s weather?

Thank you in advance.
