Tomato plant branch scrunching up

I don't understand why, but a few of my tomato plants are growing twisted branches. I'm not sure what is causing it and I want to know if there is anything I can do to prevent it from continuing to happen. All advice is appreciated

It's normal. Some plants just get twisted branches, but it doesn't hurt anything.

It has happened to me numerous times. I think it is caused by severe weather changes. It doesn't seem to affect production.

Have you had it hot?
This, I think, is the plant's way of minimising water loss.

Yes, it's been 80 to 90 degrees everyday the past two weeks.
