A few Alpines were added to and in-between the stonework (forgotten their names)...all topped off with gravel chippings

Almost the finished article ...but not quite...the harshness of the front wooden wall needs to be disguised with ornamental grass and a nice specimen tree of sorts to overhang as a backdrop.....As usual rain stops play in Northern Ireland....normal service will resume as soon as the sun shows its face...

Bamboo waterspout.....was originally going to be part of a Shishi Odoshi but I thought it looked just fine on its own in such a small space

That's very good, if it were me I would sink mine into the ground making it level with surface soil, then frogs, toads, newts etc can climb in out easier.

I always wanted a Japanese Geisha, stone figure for around the pond....So when I saw this she was too good to pass by.....I have moved the Hotei to another part of the garden and placed her around the pond in his place
