Hi all

We had this planted this tkme
Last year and it looks like it's dying off. We have the same plant around a metre away fairing brilliantly...

Anyone know the name or how to help it or is it a lost cause?

They all look like heather.
Do you know what the pH of your soil is? Acid, alkaline?
They also like a very organic soil with lots of compost mixed in. They also seem to be planted a bit deep. Is there soil above the original level from in the pots? If so, lift them and add more organic matter and don’t plant any deeper than they were in the containers.

Thanks, not sure about the pH or the soil level! Any other tips (I've tried regular feeding with organic food etc)

If they are planted deep you will need to remove any soil above the original. Mostly what they need is time. Trim off any parts that are completely dead. That way you can tell if things are getting worse or staying the same.

Ok so next in trouble is this.. I think it's a Hebe Emerald?

Planted next to the same plant which is beautiful.. is this dying or new growth?

I would say those stems are dead. It’s best to remove them, mostly so you can tell if it’s getting worse or staying the same.

Check the depth of planting on this one, too. Both Hebe and Heather are sensitive to having extra soil on top of the rootball.
