Hi everyone! I've been wanting to plant a hedge against my front yard wall (picture attached). I planted three pink breath of heaven (5 gallons each) in this space (11 feet long / 1,5 feet wide), with about 5 feet between them, about a year ago, and they've grown a little bit, maybe a little less than a foot, making them about 3 feet tall.

It still looks a little empty and not tall enough, so my question is: Should I buy a couple more shrubs and plant them in between? Or do you guys suggest another plant that would work better? I live in Southern California (USDA Hardiness Zone 10b).

Many thanks in advance :)

I don't know if you're still waiting on this, but I think that your idea would work . It will be very full almost immediately and you will need to trim it regularly. If you want to remove them and start over Japanese Boxwood would be a good alternative.
