need help identifying sunflower-like wildflower in CT

I've had several bunches of this Heliopsis looking wildflower come up over the last couple of years.
I live in southern Connecticut near the coast of Long Island Sound.
Here are photos of the flowers :

It grows in bunches about 3 feet tall.

That is a very widespread wildflower named the Maximilian Sunflower. I think they are just about everywhere from Texas eastward.

Thanks for the quick and easy ID, @Chuck. I'm trying to do a basic inventory of what I've got growing and trying to work toward only native, pollinator/wildlife friendly species. Is this nearby weed/wildflower an easy ID, too (about 4 feet tall)?
