Mystic Spires salvia HELP

I've recently had my landscaping completed about 3 months ago and have seen these salvias struggling in the garden. Not sure if its a pest eating them or something more serious. I am worried there not going to make it! Any advice/comfort would be greatly appreciated. Seems to have spots on most leaves and holes appearing everywhere.

No doubt there will be more authoritative replies, but my salvias are still in the greenhouse and just beginning to sprout and already I have had slug damage on one of them More likely than a caterpillar or other bug I would say.

Go out an hour after sunset with a flashlight. You might discover the nature of this possibly nocturnally-active pest.
