ok it`s nearing the end leaves are all browned the grapes are soft and sssss sweet - now when to icut back on the vines and how much thanks

Wait until the leaves drop so you do not steal theleaf sugars away from the roots. 30 60 days from now approximately, when the vine is dormant.

I could not know how you do yours. Ours are across wires stretched atop garden timber poles. Its new growth off the old growth that makes new fruit so perhaps this link will help.

I'm jealous, I got no grapes this year. In fact, I got no berries at all. Previous home owner planted them, but I think they do not get enough sun. Muscadine, blueberry and blackberry.

Fertilize them well now and use a acid lovers mix. The blackberries make on last years growth. We have all three types and yes sun is a biggie.

Yeah, they are up against a wall that probably only gets three hours of direct sun. They are just a big vine at this point.
