I went to water everything in pots this morning outside.

Everything seemed good except my Marigolds. Seems they take more water.

I'm thinking they might be root bound and using more water.

The probably are potbound and have used up all the nutrition in the soil. I'd plant them in the ground. Mine are all scattered in the yard and I have some in the garden with my tomatoes and in a row with my onions. They get big and stay pretty healthy in the ground and they fight off the nematodes that can attack the roots of your tomato plants. They self sow prolifically so, next year you'll have lots you can transplant.

Right now I have Marigolds everywhere in my garden, yard everywhere.

The ones I'm having a problem with are the potted ones for sale.
