Thanks to Zigs who sent me seeds all the way from the UK I have had two crops of the Manx Marvel tomatoes. When the third crop did not germinate I planted a flowering plant (Tithonia) in that pot but what do I see. - a tomato plant has cropped up. Now why should I call them Manx Marvel tomatoes if at all I get the yield?. The third generation would perhaps lose its lineage. So I would want to call them Manx Indian tomatoes. What say?:p:p:p

Nice one Grouie :D

You could call them that if you want, maybe you could be the first Indian Ambassador to the Isle of Man :D

Seeds should grow true, tomatoes rarely cross with others in the vicinity:)

I am counting the chickens before they are hatched. This was a surprise for me to see that plant quite healthy too. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Yes, she sent us the original seeds because I couldn't get hold of them here. :)

So the Manx Marvel is fighting back Grouie. Let's hope it crops well for you. :)
But it could have given me an alert early enough so that I could have kept that pot exclusively for its use. Never mind. I hope it will yield.

It looks healthy Grouie, so it's obviously happy where it is and doesn't mind sharing the pot. :)

The Tithonia should let it share some of the goodies in the soil (lol)
