Our local health centre has sent this e-mail to all people of retirement age, suggesting activities that might be of interest, including this.

Couch to 5k 9 week beginners course starts Thurs 9 Jan 6.30pm

This seems pretty close to "provocative therapy" as you can get.

I'll give it a miss and stick to playing golf.

Living on a ranch is the best retirement "provocative therapy" I can think of. Currently I'm clearing a newly clear cut 35 acre track and running loader, small dozer, and track hoe.
