Jerusalem artichoke ( sunchoke)

Can anyone tell me if these are worth growing? How do they taste? The only thing I have heard is that they can become invasive if not controlled.

Definitely plant once and spend years trying to get rid of them, if they like your soil. Taste ok, but they do give most people wind, Really susceptible people can get internal problems so severe it feels like a heart attack.

No. They're delicious raw.
Grow them in a large container (I have one 61cm dia 45cm deep, and I grew them for years in that.
